What to Do When a WITS Student isn't Available
Sometimes a WITS member is not around. This is rare, as a student or a faculty member are almost always present, but it can happen. If it does, you have a few options available to you. One is to simply wait either in Smith Curtis itself, on the couches under the stairs, or somewhere else on Campus. This can be effective, but we do not want you to wait around endlessly. Plus, if you go elsewhere to wait, there is no guarantee that you will know when a WITS member has entered the office again. Your second option is to send an email to email@example.com. This will make sure that we know that an issue has arisen, and can begin in earnest. However, there is possibly an even better way. This brings us to your third option of submitting a ticket. While this method is not as instantaneous as a face-to-face meeting, it can be very useful if you are unable to reach us. We currently use FootPrints to manage all of our tickets. By clicking here or the Submit a Ticket page in the menu above, you will be brought to a quick guide on how to use FootPrints.
